C&C Powerwashing, Detail and Polishing, Inc. was born out of a simple idea: do the job right, or don’t do it at all.

Founder Doug Collins always had a knack—and a passion—for making trucks, farm equipment, and machinery look their absolute best. But what pushed him to start his own business wasn’t just love for the work. It was frustration.

In an industry full of “fly-by-night” operators chasing quick cash with no regard for quality, Doug saw a better way. Too many detailers came and went, cutting corners, disappearing overnight, and leaving behind shoddy work and disappointed customers. The low barrier to entry made it easy for the uncommitted to jump in—and just as quickly, jump out.

Doug knew the Grand Island, Nebraska community—especially its agriculture and trucking industries—deserved better. In 2004, he and his brother set out to build something real: a certified, professional business that stood behind its work. C&C was built from the ground up with a commitment to excellence, consistency, and pride in every job.

Today, C&C operates from a large facility and is proud to be the local leader in powerwashing, metal polishing, and detailing for semi-trucks, trailers, and farm equipment. Doug and his team have earned the trust of clients across the region by doing what others won’t: showing up, standing behind their work, and delivering unbeatable results—every time.
